Do you guys want to see a Subway Series or don't really care either way as long as we make it? I can't ever root for the Dodgers, regardless of who they're playing, but a Yankees - Dodgers series would be a classic.

Mets got the air knocked out of their sails last night. The Mets have to be concerned about this trend of their hitters being completely shut down by the opponent's starting pitcher. They've done almost all their damage against the other team's bullpens. I think the Mets are playing the long game. As visitors losing game 1 just is not as big. They want their starters rested and ready. I don't think they are in bad shape.

The new Brooklyn Dodger's stadium in downtown Brooklyn would have been built for indoor baseball. In the 50's...with artificial turf?? Don't know for sure about the turf, but that would be my guess.

Don't know if retractable roof technology was there in the 50's...Astrodome was built without one in '65. Don't think artificial turf was even feasible for baseball play in the 50's. Besides...indoor baseball on carpet is an abomination.

The new Brooklyn Dodger's stadium in downtown Brooklyn would have been built for indoor baseball. Why, indoor baseball? Unheard of! Denied!… If it meant the Dodgers not leaving Brooklyn, I'm pretty sure that the few fans that I knew that were friends with my Dad wouldn't have cared. I also doubt they would have cared if they had to go to Queens to see the Dodgers play. I met them after the Dodgers moved, from what I heard they were dedicated fans. But as I mentioned once the Dodgers moved to LA, they wouldn't give the Dodger franchise the time of day. Funny, but when I met them they all greeted me the same way. "Nice to me you". "You must be a Yankee fan like your father".

But I did hear that many of them moved to Long Island, NY. If true, in away building a new stadium for the Dodgers in Queens made sense. But I understand the Dodgers not wanting to leave Brooklyn. The proposed Brooklyn site isn't really that far away from Ebbets Field (about 1.5 miles).
For those that might not know...The Ebbets Field flagpole has a home outside of the Barclays Center.

Do you guys want to see a Subway Series or don't really care either way as long as we make it? Prefer not too ... No Win Situation just like last time. It's like wrestling a girl in HS or grammar school... You beat her (shes a girl your supposed to win) but you lose and youll never hear the end of it Met fans run their mouths and when they lose ... they say stupid shit like "Yankees were supposed to win" or "We're just happy to be there" God Forbid the Yankees lose ! "We own this city"!!! "Yankees havent won in 15 years" "We will dominate for Decades with Uncle Stevie"!!!!!

Do you guys want to see a Subway Series or don't really care either way as long as we make it? Whomever we have home field advantage against. Hopefully, the Dodgers fixed that fence.
