Mark Maron does a hilarious bit on seeing what's left of The Stones in concert... Chi… I just noticed your comment that today is the 50th anniversary of “ It’s Only Rock & Roll”. I had no idea…Thats’s crazy… I’m officially old! Age is just a number, Lola!

Rod Stewart too...pushing 80. South Park had a really funny episode re him, and that might've been 10+ years ago. Is he still still in Vegas, doing show like 4 or 5 times a week? I might have already told this story... I was sitting at a stop light at an intersection across from the NYS Capitol in Albany. This guy walks in front of me...black trench coat, upturned collar, rooster hair cut. "Rod Stewart wannabe", I said to myself. I parked and started walking to my destination, and the guy was walking toward me. When we got to within a few feet of each other I realized...it was, in fact Rod Stewart. We just kinda smiled and nodded to each other as we passed. Apparently he likes to walk around cities where he's in concert. Probably couldn't get away with it in Vegas.

It's hard to believe they are still touring. I saw them in when I was in college, during the Steel Wheels tour and thought they were near the end then. What did I know? Rod Stewart too...pushing 80. South Park had a really funny episode re him, and that might've been 10+ years ago. Just listened to “Storyteller” a couple days ago…

Looks like the Mets are forcing a game 6 just as I suspected which makes me nervous being a lifelong Mets hater. The Dodgers are throwing another bullpen game on Sunday. Those are hard games to win since you normally throw numerous low leverage bullpen arms which the Mets love to feast on. Bottom line is I wouldn’t rule out a subway series after all.

The "who's better, Judge or Ohtani" debate is, IMO, kinda silly. They're both great ballplayers, regardless of which uniform each wears. Reminds me a bit of the contrived Beatles vs Rolling Stones competition*. Silly... *Of course, Beatles were far superior to the Stones...not even close. Agreed ... last 3 years ... It's Kinda silly ... Judge beats him in every important stat ... signifcantly Ohtani .296 .385 .605 .990 Judge .304 .433 .674 1.107

The Yankees have a good shot against either, but I think the Mets are better to play. The Yankees have home field against the Mets, they don't against the Dodgers. Going West multiple times is never the Yankees strong point especially in a such a short period of time. They are really familiar with how Citifield plays vs Dodger stadium which many players on this team haven't played at very often. They're super familiar with a lot of the Mets players too which helps with matchups etc.

Plus the fear of losing to them has crossed my mind.

Especially with the non homefield opponent being 3000 miles away.

I dont think homefield matters much when both teams are NYC It's going to be nearly 50/50 in either stadium ... just a matter of who can get the tickets first

I'm not a Met's fan at all, but I do like Mr. Met! I don't know why.
