Perez takes a slider well low in the middle, ball 1. Slider misses down and in, 2-0. Danger pitch here. Slider just below and outside middle, lined deep to left and gone, Rodon gives it right back, game tied at 1.

And just like that, Rodent gives it back. Hopefully he doesn't lose his head.

Perez's shot was 402 feet, out of 41 of 30 MLB ball parks.

FB above middle at 97, fouled, 0-1 on Gurriel. FB 6 inches high, inside corner, 1-1 FB inside, 2-1 FB waist high, outside corner at 97, taken, 2-2 Slider below the zone near middle, fouled. FB inner 3rd, near the corner, above the waist, again spoiled, fouled it back. Slider in a poor spot again, down the middle, above the knees, served to left, and the looping liner falls in front of Verdugo for a hit.
That's a lot of balls hit well the last 1 inning plus.

That ball might have been out on a warm July day. Not here on a crisp October evening. I wonder if it would have been out in the 180 mph hurricane coming to tampa. Are you evacuating? …
