All four series are tied at one apiece. Winning the the post season isn't easy. The MLB "Mid" season continues. Mets I guess were closest to 2-0.

Yep, one thing's for sure, I won't live to see anymore three-peats. Too much parity. Exactly...and that's the way the league wants it.

Def wasn't enough to overturn. Even if they did it would still be 5-5 and you dunno where the game goes. No guaranteed loss there.

You’re right. The Yankees should plan to have a black hole of offense at first base next year. That’s the answer. Someone call Cashman. I am not remotely interested in your negative posts. You are a misanthrope, Sir. Just place me on ignore. Vaya con Dios. Wow, misanthrope thats a good word you don't hear everyday. Nice job Rizz!

I just hope this team finds some life and another Trashman team goes out with a whimper.

Kay really ripping the team on the post game. Flaherty didn't like Jazz in an interview said they had some bad hitting luck today. Kay said he didn't feel like they were hitting anything hard and didnt know what Jazz was talking about.

I'm trying to remember a premium priced Yankee pitcher who melted down so frequently/easily. Kevin Brown? Jack McDowell? Rodon can look like a freight train for a couple of innings, then a taste of adversity and he comes unglued. So frustrating. Just because you paid $100 a pound for baloney don't make it tenderloin. I ranted for weeks on the old YES boards when the Yankees paid that kind of money for him. The man has no chestnuts. I wasn't a fan either. Had 2 strong years in his late-20s and an injury history. Handing out that much cash and that much term to that resume was classic Cashman lunacy. The fucking guy never learns. You'd think Hal would get sick of him lighting so much money on fire at some point, but here we are.

I've been laying off the guy for months but having a DH that can't run and cost the team is just stupid. All the announcers TV and radio are commenting.

just flat out got beat. one bad inning. game over. lots of hard hit balls but right at 'em.
rodon started out like a house on fire. almost think he started off too amped & strong and burned himself out. excellent job by the pen
offense never got untracked. no one could buy a hit w risp. 7 guys got hits and chisholm got the only extra. soto was controlled. perhaps that IF hit will get judge outing. on to

Just too many playoff series in MLB now...which is what makes the Yankees' 3-peat (and 2 outs from a 4th in a row) all the more incredible. From 1998 until the AL league championship in 2001, the Yankees won 11 post season series in a row. Let's see some MLB team do that now.

You'd think Hal would get sick of him lighting so much money on fire at some point, but here we are. Admittedly, I wanted him. He had great stuff, was left-handed, was coming off a fantastic year, and all he was going to cost was free agency cash - no prospects. At the time, I believed he was the best arm available. But, I did not watch him game after game, like we do with our Yankees's pitchers and players. Rodon still has not learned to pitch; he's still a thrower at his core, and his volatility does not help him.
