Rangers jump on the Penguins for 3 in the 1st, lead 3-0 after one period. Always been a casual at best hockey fan. Decided this is the year I start to follow it. Ordered a Rangers hoodie even! You picked a good season. The Rangers have a very good team. |

Went out to eat and had Yankees and Mets on the TVs. Now ready to sit back and watch the rest. So much better with John and Susyn in the Bronco. We got opening night Devils tickets tomorrow. Hope I get the game on my phone. Enjoy the NHL game. NYD NJD have a good team too. In my opinion, they underachieved last season. |

The Yankees only had 4 hits but the game winner went over the fence! 4 hits is about our limit. So home runs or bust I guess. I dont understand how you can spend this much money on a team and be such poor hitters. first of all, while you can make a case there are some holes, the hitters are not "poor". some just aren't hitting up to expectations. but every team has issues, otherwise you would have seen more than 95 wins.
no team is perfect and there's a certain level of parity. the dodgers who have one of the highest payrolls, had to resort to a bullpen game facing elimination. 8 pitchers. houston, philadelphia and atlanta who are in the top 6 in terms of payroll are gone. |

If he hadn't, I doubt there'd be any complaints from Yankee fans if he was featured in an interview. Frankly, there seems to be a bit of a persecution complex among some Yankee fans. |
