At least the Yankees were competitive today the Red Sox got blown out twice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk The Red Sox look completely over-matched by Houston. Much tougher to hit with runners in scoring position without electronic assistance providing signs to the batter.

My dreams of a Yankees/Red Sox ALCS are fading fast. Maybe we can get in on a loser's tournament??? ): Which begs the question...with short playoffs, why not switch to a double elimination format??? I want to be made commissioner, immediately!!!

As my first act as commissioner, I hereby proclaim that if any batter is hit in the hand or wrist an instant replay shall automatically investigate if the cracking noise was a breaking bone, or if the ball hit the bat...This is to be done no matter how stupid either manager is in either dugout... How am I doing so far? I also proclaim that members of the heamyha forum on freeforums.net get free Yankee boxes for life... Am I doing all right now???

Geez, no lead is safe in this post season. Darling had just proclaimed that Lester was going to get the win because "he knows when to get the big outs" and then the Cubs reliever hung a cookie to Harper that he destroyed. That was a lot of fun to watch, with no rooting interest in the game.

I would also ask for you to donate a portion of all of the NL's teams owners profits to members of the heamyha forum.... along with the AL West, AL Central and all AL East teams that aren't in the 10451 zipcode... We'll call it an anti-revenue sharing

I just had major da-ja-view or whatever it's called. Remember that George Carlin skit? "you ever experience view-ja-da? The feeling you get that none of this shit has ever happened before"

Red Sox kept themselves alive last night at Fenway with a big win.

OK, it's time to second-guess the Red Sox. They brought Chris Sale out to start the eighth inning after he'd already thrown four scoreless frames, and Sale gave up a game-tying leadoff homer to Alex Bregman. Two outs later, Sale left to a rousing ovation at Fenway Park. He turns over a tie game to closer Craig Kimbrel.

Great at-bat by Josh Reddick to single in the go-ahead run. Craig Kimbrel will no doubt regret throwing a 3-2 fastball instead of a 3-2 slider, but he also may have had on-deck hitter Jose Altuve in the back of his mind, not wanting to load the bases. 4-3 Astros.
