Why was Cone the announcer for the Red Sox series and smoltz for the yankees series? Seems like it should be the other way around.

Is anyone like me actually supporting the Red Sox so we can have another Yankees/Red Sox ALCS? We were in our family. Rooting for the Sox down to the last out but the midget couldn't get it done and went back into his hollow tree to bake cookies.

Good ole' Dusty Baker. The most important moment of his team's season and he has some medicore pitcher facing one of the best hitters in the game and of course it doesn't end well for the Nats.

Dodgers win 3-1 they are moving on.
Cubs can closeout tomorrow at home, if not game 5 in Washington DC on Thursday.
Red Sox were eliminated earlier as we all know. Astros moving on. So two series decided, two to go.

Wild Game 5 in the Nationals/Cubs series. Cubs take the lead 9-6. Crazy game, starting pitching has been great in this series until tonight. If Gary Sanchez was really as bad a catcher as some in the media say, he'd be Matt Wieters. He's been brutal behind the plate.

We must wind up playing the Cubs, and at some point in the series, Aaron Judge must point to center field, where he'll deposit a baseball well over the walls of the stadium that will crash through the window of a hospital and bounce softly into the bed of a little boy who was just about to die and now will live to become POTUS because Judge had promised to hit a home run through his hospital window for him...
The legend must be larger than Ruth's to fit the headlines on the internet. Who cares about the newspaper headlines? No one sees them any more...
Though I did see a sub-headline in a sports page out here in Colorado the other day that I got a charge out of...
The Broncos have a rookie tight-end named Jake Butt. The headline proclaimed that "Tight-End Butt is Itching To Play"...Did that one get past the editor, or did the editor laugh hardest of all???

Maddon breaks the rhytm of his pitcher and it get him out of a huge jam as Wieter's back up gets picked off 1B.
