Is he really remorseful about the gesture or just remorseful that he got caught? Excellent question. If he hadn't been caught this time, he would have been caught eventually, at which time he would have been remorseful. So, the remorse is a result of being caught. He may have done the same thing and whatever racial remarks or poses that he has in his bag of tricks without a second thought if no one had said anything... I'd like to hear from numbers to see what goes in Cuba with racism...His act may have been akin to the actions of American people in the early part of the twentieth century when it was publicly "okay" to be a racist to much of society. One thing about the good old days that I can remember that wasn't so good... Hey Inger,I left Cuba in 1961but my overall impression is that Cubans are no more inherently racists than people in general.]My view on Yuriels’ actions and racism in general, would not be popular here.

Gracias, amigo! Then I have perhaps offered him a bit of a pass based on my own ignorance of the situation and wish to withdraw that pass. So, I suppose the entire world for the most part should likely be considered enlightened enough by now to grown past racism, sexism, religiousism, and about any kind of "ism" that still exists. Yet, the all do continue to exist. Perhaps the problem is those who are pacifist about the subject, as I have been. I don't know. I did feel as though Darvish's comment was excellent, though. He didn't further inflame the situation... I know that race means almost nothing to me personally at this point in my life. People are basically one of two colors to me. One color is good, the other one is bad...There are certainly many shades in between...and the colors of good and bad are not visible at skin level...

Abreu and Guzman may amount to nothing but getting rid of McCann when they did was a fine idea. He can’t hit and can’t throw anyone out. Of course the 3 hits he gets the entire post season are at the worst time for the Yankees. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk That’s true.

Of course I got some text messages from Yankee Haters saying how talented the Astros are. I was like why? And the response is WTF you aren't watching the game. Again no I'm not. "Oh well the Astros are such a dominant team". Really? Tell me how many times the yankees gave up 12 runs in a game this season? Thats right 0. This is the 6th time the Astros have done it. Just looking at the box scores, the Dodgers are definitely not the same team they were 2-3 months ago. Which sucks, because it makes the yankees losing the ALCS even worse, because I know Yankee pitching wouldn't have given up 12 runs in a playoff game.
The yankees gave up 42 runs in 13 post season games. They scored 51. The Astros have given up 70 runs in 16 post season games. They scored 72. The yankees are at an entire run average given up less (3.23 vs 4.37) than the Astros and they have NEITHER Keuchel or Verlander. People can hate all they want, but if the Astros can give up that much a game and still be winning right now theres no way the yankees couldn't have won the world series.

So frustrating we couldn't hit the weak Astros bullpen in Games 6 and 7.

[img src="//storage.proboards.com/6828121/images/ZVUxStWfuuhWOBrKaeKL.gif" alt=" " class="smile"] They had a combined 2 innings of chances between the two games. The only reason the astros won that series is their starters gave them length which kept their bullpen from being exposed. Every time the Yankees got to the Astros bullpen, the astros had nothing. Also, that Hicks strike call changed everything.

First, we go through an era where the players are doctoring their bodies. Then, the commissioner puts a stop to that so we don't have inflated stats and ruin the integrity of the game. Then, we have baseballs that have been doctored to allow the players to continue to hit home runs and ruin the integrity of the game.
Why don't they just use super-balls or larger versions of golf balls and let 'em fly (and admit to it)?
I'm happy that the Yankees have a wonderful young player like Aaron Judge that has proven to be the greatest rookie HR hitter in the history of the game, but I do wish I knew that he was playing on an even playing field with all of those that came before him. I'm not so sure he is...There is a lot of thunder in young bats right now...I'm curious as to how that has happened...

I thought it was proven the ball wasn't "juiced"?

I thought it was proven the ball wasn't "juiced"? Not that I know of...I heard that pitchers are making accusations...

What a friggin' sin that MLB baseballs are manufactured in Costa Rica...Oh, well. I guess most of the players are now being raised overseas, so the baseballs might as well be, too... So what if it turns out that the cows used to make the hide were eating something that made their hide slick? I'm sensing a conspiracy theory here were the cows food was sprayed with teflon and those particular cattle were timed to be harvested just in time for the World Series with an innate slickness to the material. Oh, this is delicious. This is nasty. (C'mon, my tongue is buried way deep in my cheek, guys)...

Season over. Bums from Houston won. Annoying. Still don’t feel they are the best team but whatever.
