Volpe and Torres are so much better when they use right field. I recognize the value placed on home runs by a lot of the data people, but some guys are born to hit line drives.

IMO it's not so much focusing on hitting the ball to RF, it's hitting the ball where it's pitched. Not many hitters can inside-out a pitch like Jeter could. |

Of course. Gleyber hits much better when he's not expected to hit HRs. Most of his hits have been to LF-CF. His leadoff single last night was to RF, his RBI single was to CF, both where they should've been. Good hitting. |

Setting the table for Soto and Judge and then later in the game, coming up with clutch hits. |
