Carl Willis, the Cleveland pitching coach, out to the mound to try to calm Cantillo down. Thier trash time pitcher. Don’t want to use him…

The old force a wild pitch strategy!
If it worked once, do it again!

Bounces a FB on top of home over Naylor back to the screen, and even Stanton can score from 3rd on that one!! 3-0 Yanks, and the runners to 2nd and 3rd with 2 down, 2-2 on Verdugo.

Wish Verdugo would have only swung at strikes, but got the run home.

Change well inside thigh high, but Verdugo tries to golf it to the Porch, and misses by plenty for the K, inning over!
The Yanks strike for 3, and take a 3-0 lead; only drawback is a long time on the bench for Rodon in the very cool Bronx evening, had to sit through 35 pitches, two mound visits and a pitching change. Watch carefully, Blake/Boone.
3-0 Yanks going top 4. 3-4-5 for the Guardians in the 4th: Ramirez, Thomas and Naylor.

Soto's 1st HR of the playoffs: 109.7 mph, 387 feet, 31° launch angle, a HR in (suck on it Costas, Smotlz) 1 of 30 MLB parks. Do you have a link, Kay?

Ramirez leads off for Cleveland...
95 FB above middle, takes it for strike 1. Curve above the waist, outer 3rd, hit hard to medium deep right center, Judge takes a step in, then gets the read and route, runs it down in the gap a couple of steps from the track, 1 down.
