FB outside corner, spoils it foul, popped into the stands.

Yanks win game 1, 5-2, and are closer to the World Series than they've been in 5 years, just 3 wins away.

I love it, but probably no Weaver tomorrow 24 pitches, he might have an inning in him. Tactically, Vogt sacrificed this game by emptying his bench early, and using none of his top relievers. He's better set for tomorrow with Bibee or Boyd. Against that, the Yanks if the Yanks can get another solid game from Cole, 6-7 good innings, they'll have Holmes, Kahnle and probably Weaver available for an inning. |
