Cutter misses high on the corner away, 2-2

Cutter inside, breaks his bat, rolls it over to Berti, takes it to the bag, 2 down.

Slider outer half, waist high, lined into the corner, Verdugo gets it back in, but not in time, and now Schmidt as in trouble, has to get the hot Rocchio with 2 down and a RISP.

Drops a curve onto the outer half, 0-1 on Rocchio.
Curve in the drop the bat happy zone down and in, rolls it over to Berti, takes it to the bag, inning over.
Good job with Rocchio there to hold the deficit to 1.
Top 5, 2-1 Guardians.
Verdugo, Trevino and back to the top for Torres for the Yanks in the 3rd. My guess is that if anyone gets on before Torres, we'll see Smith or Gaddis. I might be wrong. Boyd has been rolling since Trevin's RBI single.

FB thigh high, down the middle, sharp grounder, but right to Rocchio, throws him out, inning over.
Bottom 5, 2-1 Guardians.
Another 1-2-3 for Boyd, this one just 8 pitches and 75 through 5. He might be done, despite retiring 10 in a row.
Top of the order for the Guardians in the 5th: Kwan, Manzardo and Ramirez get their 3rd look at Schmidt, which usually doesn't go well for Schmidt.
