The problem with everybody getting hot and having a ridiculous 1-2 month hot streak is that eventually you regress to the mean. All of our relievers are regressing at once and HARD. The key to baseball is getting those hot streaks at the right time. I'm afraid we missed the window by a couple of weeks.

Noel didn't tag and move to 3rd, I guess he felt he couldn't risk it. Geez, bad screwup by me. Change low in the zone, tipped foul, 0-2 Change in the zone low/away, grounded to the right of 2nd, Berti boots the backhand, doesn't panic, recovers and throws him out by plenty, game over!!! Yanks hang on by their fingernails, and win game 4, 8-6, taking a 3-1 lead in the ALCS!! They haven't been this close to the World Series since game 6 of the 2017 ALCS.   |
