Not a full day of rest for Weaver, but he should be ready for an inning tomorrow. Kahnle should have an inning. Advice to Boone: let Holmes have tomorrow off. And Sunday. And Monday and Tuesday, if needed. I really believe Holmes is being used at the wrong times. Give him a clean inning in the sixth or seventh, not two on and no outs. |

Now the big question...will the 2024 Yankees ever play another CLEAN game (without bad base running, errors, fumbling the ball, etc.) ever again this season? Tomorrow night, I hope. |

Rodon and Stroman may be a good combination tomorrow. Situationally, that would be a good strategy. By situationally I mean I still don't trust Stroman with anything less than a 3 run lead. He was absolutely DREADFUL after the AS break and pretty much unusable by September. |

He shouldn't be sniffing high leverage situations. He's been failing in those scenarios with regularity since early June. |
