So...if Kahnle doesn't give up the double to Ohtani, the error* which allowed Ohtani to go to 3rd doesn't happen. Anyone can play that silly game. *BTW...Gameday says the error was given to Soto. There's a difference between giving up a double to Ohtani which happens and committing a boneheaded fielding error which is inexcusable. OK...giving up the double to Ohtani was "excusable". I guess giving up the HR to Freeman was also "excusable".

Gotta give it to Verdugo for having a solid game tonight. 2 great catches and had a hit. He hasn't been perfect or anything, but he's had these solid plays/abs at times this post season at times obv you want some more power and a higher OPS, but he's had some key moments.

Saves you the trouble of watching the remaining games, I guess. Or reading your 2 batter delayed emotionless pitch by pitch updates while Yankees are getting walked off ... I guess You are alone in this. Just about everyone else enjoys qwik's play by play which is informative and helpful.

I'd lose a game to a... HR any day... That's exactly what happened. If we played good defense there would be no HR opportunity. So you could say we lost to bad defense as well.
Frankly, its the defense and the dumb managerial decision to pitch Nestor that piss me off more than the actual game ending HR.

You can't score on a sac fly from second base... You can't score without getting on base first. You're being unreasonable here. Every base counts in a close game like that. Blaming Kahnle there doesn't make sense. The runner likely doesn't score if he's on second. He def doesn't score on a fly ball out.

Yankees def can take control of this series tomorrow. Dodgers already admitted Game 3 or 4 is a bullpen game so if they can win tomorrow and get to the Dodgers bullpen early it gives them the pitching advantage since they have 4 actual starters and the Dodgers do not.

The post game was in agreement here. Didn't understand the Nestor thing and called the Gleyber + Oswaldo plays extra outs that aren't acceptable in a game that close. One of those three things don't happen and they win.
