My wifi is being a pain right now, keeps cutting in and out. Stanton works the count to 2-0 FB on the inside corner grounded to 3rd, Muncy fields and throws him out, 1 down.

Chisholm misses a FB on the outer 3rd, 0-1 Fouls off a FB a bit above that one, 0-2 FB a bit above and outside the 2nd one, grounded sharply up the middle...right where Edman is, throws him out, 2 down.

Yanks are done...no way they will come back in this series. They'll be lucky to take 1 in NY. No pitching, no hitting, and Dodgers have both. Right on que... Debbie Downer! Not Debbie Downer...Freddie Factor.

Don’t call it yet you guys. Roberts tends to go with his lower leverage relievers when they have a lead and teams come back. However, when the pitching falters, the offense keeps the team in it. I wouldn’t go away yet. But like I said earlier, you need to get to Yamamoto early because he gets stronger as the game goes. He will probably come out after the 5th.

Rizzo... Fouls off a Fb away, 0-1 Curve inside, 1-1 FB outside middle, taken, 1-2 Takes his timeout Splitter in the zone low/away, swung early and over for the K, inning over.
Bottom 4, 4-1 Dodgers 1...2...3... go the Yanks on just 11 pitches, 62 through 4 for Yamamoto.
7-8-9 for LA in their half of the 4th: Muncy, Smith and Rojas.

The bonehead move by Boone last night compounds itself as he used up his pitchers. If not for his move the Yanks would be playing with house money now. The silver lining is maybe this is Boone’s last year.

Rodon still in there. Muncy chases a FB outside, fouls it off, 0-1 Chases a slider low in away, 0-2 Takes the same slide a bit above the last one, 1-2 Misses the slider on the low outside corner for the K, 2 down. Can we force the Dodgers to bat Muncy in all nine spots?

Well, that point is moot. Boone lets Rodon face the lefty Muncy, goes to the righty Cousins to pitch to Smith and Rojas.

Rodon comes up small, but the deficit is only 3 runs. More than doable!
