Neither team has really done much offensively since the third inning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Rodon is the only guy who can generate offense. Too bad he does it for the other team.

Neither team has really done much offensively since the third inning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Yanks have done nothing, and it matters more to them. Yea of course they are the ones behind. They have 1 hit the entire game with 2 walks and the rizzo hbp Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Edman swings over a slow curve, 0-1 Takes a splitter dropping above the knees in the middle, 0-2. Splitter dives both low and outside, he taps it back to Leiter, throws him out inning over.
Oh, so that's what he needed. He needed to be back facing NL hitters, where he was pitching great before the trade.
Top 9, 4-1 Dodgers. Last call for the Yanks: Soto, Judge and Stanton vs. Treinen. Maybe if they see that frisbee slider enough, they'll catch up to it. If not tonight, maybe in game 12.

Yankees' bullpen did everything it could have done. Tremendous job.

This game is a far cry from last nights nail biter... Yankee offense putting me to sleep. At least I won't have nightmares like I did after last nights debacle!

If Ohtani has a separated shoulder, and can't play for the rest of the series, it'll put even more pressure on the Yankees to win, in a no-win scenario, because if they don't win, they couldn't beat the Dodgers even without Ohtani, and if they do win, oh sure, they won, but only because Ohtani got hurt...Kind of like losing to the Mets in a World Series.

Yankees' bullpen did everything it could have done. Tremendous job. If they just could have had a scoreless 10th inning last night, we would have such a different feeling about this series.

Soto takes a sinker high, ball 1 Takes a sinker outside, 2-0 Sinker barely clips the corner away, Soto doesn't get the Soto-call, 5-10% on Gameday, 2-1 Slider below and inside middle, he's early and on top, grounds it foul off 1st, 2-2 Slider inside at the bottom, he lays off, 3-2 Sinker below and inside middle, ripped to deep right, Betts runs back, sees it go over him and off the wall, a leadoff single as he doesn't gamble on stretching, down by 3.

Judge... Slider on the outside corner, swing and a miss, 0-1 Sinker at the bottom in the middle, taken, 0-2 Takes his timeout. I'd just like to see a loud foul somewhere.

It's over. The Dodgers are the better team and the Yankees just don't have it.
