Teoscar gets a 1st pitch slider down and in, fouls it.
FB at the very top at 98, popped to the stands off 1st, Rizzo goes off and makes an outstanding catch, leaning on the netting. 1 down.

Loses a change up and away, 1-0
Same pitch same result, 2-0 on Muncy.
Change outside middle middle, he starts but it wasn't what he was looking for so he takes, 2-1
Slider above the zone, Muncy tries to check, not in time, 2-2
Slider down and in is a fairly easy take, 3-2
FB down the middle at 98.2, fouled back hard off Wells mask on the left side.
Yanks the FB, bounces it inside, easy take, ball 4. Sigh.

1st pitch slider bends to the outer half, grounded hard to short, Volpe has to go down on his backhand, fields, gets the force at 2nd, Torres gets the relay off in a hurry, the ump says out, but it's very close at 1st, so the Dodgers will challenge. Haven't seen a good look...and it looks like he's safe...barely.

Change tails outside, ball 1.
Change tails outside again, but Gil gets a break, ump calls it a strike. Missed by 4-5 inches on Gameday, 0% not close so...BAD call. Eh, I'll take it.
Change to the knees in the middle, rolled over to Torres, throws him out, inning over.
Bottom 4, 5-2 Yanks.
Another solid inning for Gil, just 14 pitches and 59 through 4.
As Roberts said, Landon Knack comes in to pitch the 4th for the Dodgers. He'll face Verdugo, Torres and Soto.
