good to see all the new posters this year even if I was rarely here. Hope you are back next year.
Despite the terrible play we were not going to win two in LA. Game 1 pretty much determined the series.

Sick to my stomach. Two of the absolute worst postseason losses I've endured within days of each other. Agreed. Yanks lost a number of games, more than usual, in gut wrenching fashion. This one was just a give away. |

This one was just a give away. They had the pitching matchups to score again too the last couple innings. So yea the mistakes sucked, but once again RISP fail too. |

Bummer. Been a fun season overall, teammates. Another season in the books. At least we got a pennant? Figure I'll do a "report card" thread grading each player on their season. Will probably need to simmer down for a few days first, though.  We're on to SOTO WATCH 2024... |

I'm angry over blowing this one, but I'd be a lot angrier if i didn't think the better team won the Series.
I mean, it's still a longshot if they go to LA down 3-2, especially with Rodon vs. Yamamoto, but I would've been happy to see them become the first team ever to force a 6th game down 3-0.

turned the tv off.
absolutely the worst defensive effort i've seen. 5-0 in the 5th should have been money. but we've seen this team do this all season. we literally gave away 2 games. if anything could have been up 3-2.

Couldn't even get on base against a starter who threw 75+ pitches 2 days ago. He had all of his stuff for one inning, anthony, and one inning is all he needed. |

Can't even take pride in the series. Dominated and horrible in 3 games, win 1 big game, then cruising to a win and have epics meltdowns and blunders to gift the win to the Dodgers.

On the upside, us not winning will make it much easier to fire Boone and dump Rizzo and Torres. The Dodgers were just better than us, and we shot, trampled and stabbed ourselves in the feet over and over again. 3 errors, a balk and catchers interference in a game with our season on the line is unacceptable.
