You’re welcome to start game threads anytime you like Lauren! Whoever starts it first(usually day of the game) gets it. Now you might not get every gamethread but you can surely start your fair share. In fact, in honor of all the YES posters who have joined us, I think you should start the opening day game thread for sure! I haven't started any new threads. Not sure how it's done here. I don't see a "Create Thread" button. Still easing into chatting'/replying with a fun group of posters. If you click on Yankees General Discussion near the top of the page it changes a different screen with “Create New Thread” near the top right. Like magic. Here, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat. “ROAR, ROAR, even”. Ooh, wrong hat…

The fun part was the lineup posting which normally set some people off 2 hours before game time including my buddy Max! Max? Poor thing, he was just too nervous… <Tombstone reference>… 🤓 If you ever get down this way the Town of Tombstone is worth a visit. Yeah...some kitschy tourist stuff, like "reenacment" of the gunfight, but some very interesting historical stuff at the Tombstone Courthouse State Historic Park. Also a pretty good brewpub...Tombstone Brewing Co. tombstone.beer/locations/

You mean like when Gardner or Hicks was hitting in the middle of the Yankees line up? I'm never going to get used to Judge batting second nor get used to Soto batting second.
I might as well get my constant complaints for the 2024 out of the way. Rain-out complaint: The Yankees spent all that money building a stadium, but no retractable roof?!
Balls and strikes complaint: MLB, please install an electronic strike zone ASAP.

Thanks, the pressure was on to get near a computer prior to each game in posting lineup/game threads. When I'm away for a few weeks it was not easy to get commitment from fellow posters in initiating game threads with regularity. It would be a pleasure to see many doing so...

There you go again. Had to mention Hicks and ruin it. One of my all time non-greats along with the likes of Stephen Drew and Chris Capuano 2 more of Cashman's brilliant signings. What I don't miss is the constant praising of Hicks by Giancarlo on the old Yes board and when he stated "Hicks is raking it" after getting a few hits one week.

After that my guess is probably Rizzo, Stanton, Torres, Verdugo, Wells and Volpe, A lot more balanced than past years with 5 RH bats and 4 LH. If DJ gets close to the real DJ the first innings of games become must see.

Only to fall into an abyss for the next month, get thrown out on the bases, let a fly ball dump inside the left field line, and sulk while the opposition rounded the bases for home. Hicks has not been missed.
