Still not giving up. Cleveland is the better team with the better manager but we can take three in a row. Starts with one game tomorrow in NY. I will be there. GF will bring us good luck and Tanaka will shut em down!

OMG, I just turned on my tv for the first time since last night and the second the TV turns on its on a replay of the game at EXACTLY the point the challenge didn't happen. This is haunting me. I grabbed the remote as fast as I could so I wouldn't have to witness that BS again. The whole incident and the grand slam is embedded in my brain.

Is that whole thing true about managers don’t need to request a challenge after the 6th inning and it’s up to the umpires ? Because if true that makes this worse. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Where did you read that? Kay...the following is from MLB.com "Each manager starts the game with one challenge. If he uses it and the call is overturned, he gets one more but can never have more than two. If he still has a challenge after the sixth, he must use it if he wants to challenge a call. However, if a manager is out of challenges, he may ask the umpires to review a close play in the last three innings. Chances are, the umpire will grant the request. And, yes, the umpire can also decide to take another look after the sixth even if a manager who is out of challenges doesn't ask." I referenced this in my Girardi should be kicked in the nuts post, which remains a necessity.

I'm still pissed off about last night. Trying to stay away from all things baseball today. Why did he pull CC? Why didn't he challenge the HBP? Why leave Green in when it's obvious he couldn't finish any of the hitters? Why not bring in Betances/Chapman sooner? I could've out managed Girardi... Hopefully these blunders cost this man his job. Has Cashman said anything publicly? Not that he would bad-mouth Girardi in public... (he did with Torre though...)
