Okay, the tyranny of Cashman's Guy is over! Aaron Hicks returns! You all can have your freedom of speech back! From today forward July 13th will be knows as the board's independence day! YAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYY!
actually the post I erased I had made the comment that Boone was really Cashman's Guy because he had hired a manager with no experience, and now he had to own him...……….I hoped for the best, along with everyone else, but it is becoming clear that, at least in the short term, Boone is a liability.....

Oh for sure. Boone is definitely Cashman's lackey. Everyone knew that from day one.

NY NY Boone managing by the seat of his pants. After 84 pitches through 4 IP it is inexcusable to send DG out there to face Brantley and Ramirez for the 3rd time in 5 innings.
I miss the Binder

I don't miss Girardi at all. It was time for him to go. The date on his carton was probably two years past. On the other hand, I can't get a handle on this latest run of Boonisms...
Here are his primary sins...
Resting players who have a hot bat. Resting players with a day off the following day. Getting guys going by playing the cold players (often in place of hot players) Resting players the day after a great performance (is this like buying a little league player a milkshake if he hits a HR)? Leaving in his least experienced starting pitchers for too long. Turning to Shreve too often in games that are still winnable. Using Shreve to get him going. Now, we have the hit and run with Stanton on deck...two down in the eighth etc. The hit and run sign today apparently was Boone bumping his eyebrows up and down...Dumb sign...
And oh, yes. I voted that I was satisfied with him. I don't know how much rope he should get, but mine is getting shorter...

It was great to see the Blue Jays come back and then blow the game open vs. the Red Sox today. Maybe this will be the start of a nice Boston funk...

The vote change can be an option. I'm not quite there yet, but I'm wondering why not...

Leaving his most experienced pitcher in too long. As in Baltimore on Monday. In view of Utah’s post, I will not be asking Kaybli to substitute Boonehead for Boone. I will gladly do that on my own. Kay,I suspect Inger will change his vote when the list grows to 17 items

Boone not having a good week but I still got his back. Every manager does this shit... But I will admit since I made poll he has done some very questionable moves. I still like him better than Girardi

I'm starting to hope the Yankees consider hiring Pedro Martinez as a special pitching instructor to work with German. The stuff is there, but mindset and repeatability are missing.

Hey it worked for Severino! Nothing like calling up our old nemesis to help out his old friends on the Yankees. He owes us for all the beanballs on Jeter and Soriano.

[img alt=" " src="//storage.proboards.com/6828121/images/dvPVqbdLf0ncreyejmsH.gif" class="smile"] , there is hardly any need for any moderation on this board from you or I, unfortunately or fortunately depending on how you look at it.
