Several oddities in this game...The Stanton HBP/K hybrid, little league fielding by each team in consecutive half innings, this little dropped foul ball dance. The spinning ball goes into the dugout trick...

Like who??? Houston got both of the available studs. There are no studs available this year. No one has said they need an absolute stud. Happ, DeGrom and maybe Hamels would fit the need. Each of those would be better then what we have. Disagree. Utah and I are saying stud or stay with what we have...I think some others have also stated that. In fact, many have soured on Happ and Fullmer... |

No one has said they need an absolute stud. Happ, DeGrom and maybe Hamels would fit the need. Each of those would be better then what we have. Disagree. Not going to do us any good if our arms are dead by playoff time. CC is going to need time off. Tanaka arm could fall off. German and Grey are Helter Skelter and cant be counted on. Go get a guy that can eat innings and can be a guy in the playoffs if someone gets hurt. I personally don't feel comfortable with just Seve and Tanaka. |

Can you imagine if he’d gotten Verlander instead of Gray and Cole.
