Not a surprise, Castro has looked horrible up at bat all night. After Miller got squeezed on the first backdoor slider, Castro should have been taking all the way on the 2nd pitch. A.) he's not going to hit that pitch and B.) Miller got squeezed, he was likely going to go back to it for a second try.
With a 1-0 count and the based loaded, all of the pressure is on the pitcher to throw strikes. So make him throw a strike before you take his bait and swing at a pitch he wants you swinging at.
Just a really awful approach to that AB by Castro.

Tanaka has been a true ACE tonight. This is the pitcher the Yankees paid all of that money to a few years ago. He's been sensational. He has made Bruce look silly each time.
Tanaka deserves to win this game. I hope the offense can push a run across.
