The later this gmae goes, the more Girardi gets involved.  Nothing wrong with the Ellsbury-Headley switch. Headley could bat right against a lefty, and Ellsbury has done nothing in the post-season. Nothing wrong with it, but why not give Holliday and his 19 HRS an AB ? How many times have we seen an aging veteran hit a big HR late in a game in a pinch hit appearance? Plenty of times. |

I was wondering why they didn't go to Holliday. Ellsbury is 0 for 8 with a walk Headley is 0 for 6 with a walk Holliday can't do any worse. |
