1. Brett Gardner (L) LF 2. Aaron Judge (R) RF 3. Didi Gregorius (L) SS 4. Gary Sanchez (R) C 5. Greg Bird (L) 1B 6. Starlin Castro (R) 2B 7. Chase Headley (S) DH 8. Todd Frazier (R) 3B 9. Cashman's Guy (S) CF A little tinkering of the lineup order by Girardi. Well deserved for Bird to slide up a few spots and it gives a nice R/L mix.

My guess is that Francona is going to hope to get 3+ strong innings from Bauer before then turning it over to the combo of Tomlin+Salazar to eat up as much of the rest of the game as possible before handing it off to a rested Cody Allen for the save. That is the strategy I would use if I were the Indians.
If it doesnt work out, you are coming back in Game 5 at home with your Cy Young ace on the hill on regular rest and the entire remainder of your bullpen fully rested.

Yea the Indians are really playing with House money right now. No reason for them to blow their bullpen. They have 3 capable starters to use for innings tonight and potentially keep them in the game. Would it suck for them to not finish it tonight ? In their minds sure, but Game 5 with a Cy young ace and a rested bullpen at home isnt a terrible alternative.

He's patiently waiting his turn against Keuchel in the ALCS.

He doesn't seem like he's healthy, but that makes me wonder why he is on the roster.

Fraudriguez and Ortiz clumsily hamming it up on the pregame show is a pathetic and embarrassing display. The network executives who decided that was a good idea because they think baseball fans are morons who just like people who are familiar to them are welcome to kiss my ass.

I would think someone like Clint Frazier would be more useful if Holliday is not healthy. I mean I know Clint frazier didn't light the world on fire other than those couple weeks, but he was definitely able to get some big hits etc. This is a DH spot we are talking about not some important fielding position.

Yea I could use some Red Thunder from the DH spot. Ellsbury and Headley have been terrible! [smh]

Lonnie Chisenhall should never get another hit in his life. Hey Lonnie, were you hit by a pitch? Didn't think so. Karma is a bitch fruitcake.
