That's why in Louisiana they call him  Peyton Manning retired, Andrew Luck retired, Eli Manning retired, Alex Smith retired, Philip Rivers retired, Drew Brees retired, Big Ben Roethlisberger retired, now maybe Tom Brady. The new crop of Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow, Josh Allen, Kyler Murray, Trevor Lawrence, and Mac Jones (who knows about Lamar Jackson) are starting to fill the void. |

I wish Danny Fumbles could be on that level. Maybe if they ever give him an offensive line. Why draft a player like Saquon Barkley and not fortify the offensive line? Because Gettleman is a moron thats why. Terrible choice for GM. So glad he's gone. |

Jim Finks was the general manager who first led the Saints out of the NFL basement. He hired Jim Mora and built the formidable Saints' teams of the late 1980s and early 1990s. Finks was the architect and first GM of the Minnesota Vikings and then the great Chicago Bears teams of the mid-1980s. Talk about a difference maker. |

San Francisco 49ers take the lead 17-7. All these old NFC South teams. It used to be Rams, 49ers, Falcons, and the Saints. If the Saints would not have had to use four kickers this season or four quarterbacks for that matter. Oh, well. They weren’t going to the Super Bowl with Trevor Siemian and Ian Book as the backup.  |
