This is terrible! You don't trade a generational talent like OBJ for the 17th pick, a third round pick, and Jabril Peppers. Awful awful news. I'm pissed now. [img alt=" " src="//storage.proboards.com/6828121/images/FiHotxkemjkOUexMSrRn.gif" class="smile"] Just two days ago their GM said " “We didn’t sign Odell Beckham to trade him. I know that’s all over the place right now, but we didn’t sign him to trade him,” Gettleman said without being asked. “That’s all I need to say about that.” One year ago the Pats tried to trade for him and he signed him to a new deal instead. If they're tearing it down, why did they sign Barkley who will be a FA by the time the team is viable again? Makes no sense.

He's a superstar player. Of course he's gonna have some attitude on a losing team for a couple years. All that stuff is so overblown. You deal with his attitude for a player with his talent. He never crossed the line.

But if you believe this year’s team cannot contend and should rebuild he got pretty good value in return. I wouldn’t want to be a fan of the Giants to watch them rebuild but that’s a different story.

You rebuild with OBJ, Saquon, Engram, Shepard and maybe Haskins in this years draft. If you trade OBJ you better get something like two high first round picks for him. The 17th pick, a third round pick, and Peppers is not good value for Odell Beckham. Where are they going to get a number one receiver now?

Look out for Cleveland next season. They should make the playoffs.

Look out for Cleveland next season. They should make the playoffs. Words I haven't seen in over 25 years. At least as applied to the Browns. No excuse for them to not be in the running, although I am still not sure why they canned the interim coach Gregg Williams who did such a good job after Hue Jackson was let go. I guess because no matter how much they may improve, they're still the Browns and still one of the handful of teams -- the others being the Lions and the much newer franchises of the Jaguars and Texans -- to have never played in a Super Bowl.

Rule that should apply to all professional sports leagues: If every team has won a title, it’s time to expand...

Giants sign Golden Tate to a 4 year 37.5million deal. [img alt=" " src="//storage.proboards.com/6828121/images/udcwFqPimnXDtjoTmoVL.gif" class="smile"] [img class="smile" src="//storage.proboards.com/6828121/images/CXbXLVOkSvBJeDFNHBpz.gif" alt=" "]
You just gotta laugh now. This is so ridiculous.

He's a good talent, at least for this season, but honestly hard to understand what the NYG are doing. I would have happily taken him on the Pats on that deal though.
