This week in the NFC East:
When I was a kid, I thought that stuff only happened to the Saints. Now, I know the NFL 30 yard lines are just fertilized more than all other areas on the field. Something about the curvature of the earth, flash photography, and the evolution of the human cornea. Geaux Saints!

Sounds like this was a Tom Brady wish list move.

If Brown wants to save his NFL career, he'll behave himself, if not, Tampa will probably just cut him before it gets too out of hand. They're not paying a huge sum of money.

New Orleans was not happy when they provided Brown a tryout last season and he defied their one stipulation, showing up with an entourage. The Saints are down Michael Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders, but they relied on two undrafted free agents (one a rookie, one a second year return man) last Sunday against Carolina.

Is there something else going on with Thomas? I know he's been dinged up but all doesn't seem well with him and the Saints. There was even rumors that the Saints were looking to trade him.

That was the rumor, but Coach Sean Payton squashed that quickly. Allegedly, Thomas and Chauncey Gardner-Johnson had an altercation at practice (not their first one) and Thomas did not handle the situation like a veteran and even popped off to CSP. Hence, his suspension from Monday Night Football a couple weeks ago. Since then, he sustained a hamstring strain at practice to go along with his high ankle strain from game two. Rumors come from many unreliable sources. Many Saints fans were/are upset at how Drew Brees was treated by some of his teammates about his remarks concerning the National Anthem, notably Michael Thomas and Malcolm Jenkins - both of whom they would like to see traded to the Jets. Many fans believe Drew should have received the benefit of the doubt from his teammates, especially after so many years of charitable works in and around New Orleans. Some fans have actually vilely turned on Brees for apologizing after the fact and believe the incident will have lasting negative effects, which are playing out now.

Okay, I’m turning the page on the LSU debacle yesterday, hoping my New Orleans Saints can provide some positive mojo for me this weekend. Unfortunately, the Saints will be without wide receivers Michael Thomas (ankle sprain and hamstring strain), Emmanuel Sanders (COVID-19), Marquez Callaway (ankle sprain), Bennie Fowler (shoulder - IR), and offensive linemen Terron Armstead and Nick Easton. At wide receiver, the Saints will probably be starting Deonte Harris, their return man, and Austin Carr, just pulled up from the practice squad against the Bears in Chicago.

What NFL games will you be watching today? And, what will you be cooking for the occasion?

What NFL games will you be watching today? And, what will you be cooking for the occasion? Since my Giants suck and they play Monday Night anyway, I'm watching all the games on RedZone rooting for the players on my fantasy team! I'm still dieting so nothing special to eat. Just a turkey sandwich. What are you cooking?

We’re traveling 340 miles to look at an off grid cabin. Seriously considering this move. We can sell our house and have enough equity to pay it off and buy the cabin cash.
Only problem is that the cabin needs the solar upgraded and the heat system. So... I’ll need to drive the cabin price down to make it all work... Rather remote location near the Utah border.
