Horseshit calls. The NFL is almost as fake as the WWE... why, oh why did I fall into the trap of watching this crap on my birthday of all times? I didn’t watch all year, then we go out to eat, it’s on the tube, I see a few minutes. I come home, I watch the end... then I watch the other game... brain turns to mush... Happy Birthday inger!!! Much appreciated, Chi! I just wish they didn’t have to count birthdays...

Much appreciated, Chi! I just wish they didn’t have to count birthdays... I stopped counting after 39. I kept going because I heard life began at 40. Nope! PAIN. Pain begins at forty...

I still can’t believe he tried to sue you over that!

I kept going because I heard life began at 40. Nope! PAIN. Pain begins at forty... You were fine until the infamous ass injury. That seemed to be the top of the hill for me. I don’t think I mentioned it here, maybe I did... I fell carry furniture for a neighbor on January 9. Buggered up many body parts that day, but mostly my right shoulder. The really bad part was that I also fell on January 11. I fell in just about the same position and it hurt much worse because I hit everything I had already hit. I’m mostly better, but that right shoulder is still barking. Every time I think it’s almost better it starts barking again. Did I dislocate it? Strain the rotator cuff? I don’t know. I should go to the doctor, but I do so enjoy the challenge of self-repair...

Man, sorry to hear that, Inger. Did you slip on ice? No ice involved. The falls were very similar. The first one, I was carrying a piece of furniture up a couple of stairs from the neighbors garage. It was a nightstand. As I hit the top Step, the load shifted forward. I tried to stabilize it but couldn’t and fell forward. The second fall was at the top of our basement stairs with a load of laundry that was already done. I turned the corner at the top of the stairs and lost my footing slightly. Once again, the load shifted and all of a sudden... there I was, laying on my face. Just freak falls, I suppose... neither one made much sense. I think I’ve been sick and depressed and sitting on me arse way too much. If I’m not careful, I’ll start losing my strength and balance. Once this heals I need to do some things to get more active...

Three Points:
First: Bravo to the Greatest QB ever = MR. BRADY!!! Going to #10 Super Bowl. Who else has done such??? This SB going to be good, Best Ever QB, facing maybe the next Best Ever QB in 18-20 years.
Trying to get some good odds on Tampa to win.
Second: Happy Birthday Inger--but the way you are going...
Third: You have mentioned your Depression a few times in the last three plus months:
(I think I’ve been sick and depressed and sitting on me arse way too much. If I’m not careful, I’ll start losing my strength and balance. Once this heals I need to do some things to get more active...).
If anyone should be depressed on this board it is the Members that have Lost a Love One, recently...
And ME, yes Do Me: I have not had Sex since March--No Three-ways or Four-ways; NO DRUGS since like April and I have practically given up drinking.
The KEY Critical Items in my life for years have been: Pussy, Wild Sex, Drugs, Drinking and (Traveling, etc.) = Now I do none of the above.
I avoid depression by being active (like you should be) --Activity creates Energy and Energy Suffocates Depression.
Hell, you even got a woman at home (I don't). Shit you have no business being depressed.
Let's start you with an everyday early morning 2-4 mile brisk walk. Than some light weights -- than to work on projects on your place you have put off for too long.
Haapy Birthday Inger--get out of your funk!!!

I pretty much agree, Dome. But fate continues to play a role. I had just agreed to go back to working solar. I was to go the DAY AFTER I FELL. Not only was I in too much pain, but it snowed over night. I could not risk another fall.
I went the next morning, but within two hours just jockeying the steering wheel and constantly shifting into park created too much pain to continue.
I told Ruthie last week I was going to go back today, because the pain was easing, and we got 4” of snow (we weren’t expecting it) last night. We have another 6” of snow coming tonight.
It pisses me off that you even mention projects. Shit, I can barely comb my hair... 😂.
The first instruction on shoulder injuries is rest the shoulder. Everyone I use it it hurts more. “Doctor, it hurts when I do this” “Then don’t do that, dumbass”.
I’m actually improving now quite a bit in the depression aspect, which is why I was returning to work. There must be a reason I’m getting delayed. Maybe I’m going to be competing with Stanton and Ellsbury for some kind of lack of activity award.
Do me a favor if you will. Go for a four hour walk in the morning and let me know how it went. If I go for a four hour walk every morning, starting tomorrow, I can be somewhere in Nevada by Thanksgiving...

Sorry you've been depressed recently inger. I've been open on this board and with you about my struggles with bipolar disorder. Unfortunately, after a long period of doing well, I had an anxiety attack a few weeks ago and am not feeling too hot recently. I'm pretty discouraged to be going through this again. I wish I could offer some good advice beyond the obvious but I'm not following my own advice recently. But like everything, this will pass. Got to hope for better things in the future.
