Any predictions for the game? I'll go Chiefs 27 Bucs 24 There will also be way too many mentions of Brady and his age. Chiefs 28 Bucs 20. Go Chiefs! How terrible would it be to see Brady win again?

I see this game as a toss-up, unless the Chiefs can get pressure on Brady early. The Bucs are a good front runner, but they are not a good come from behind team. The Saints demolished them twice during the regular season. If the Chiefs go ahead big early, Tampa will roll over. This would have been a much better game had the Saints been healthy. Too many injuries before and during the third Tampa game. Losing Deonte Harris in the first quarter changed the field position battle and took away the Saints most explosive receiving threat. Still, had Jared Cook not fumbled in the third quarter, the Saints would have likely taken a 14 point lead and Tampa would have been done. Good thing I’m not bitter.

It looked like the Saints were about to blow the game open and that silly penalty reversed all that. Those type of penalties are so costly.

It looked like the Saints were about to blow the game open and that silly penalty reversed all that. Those type of penalties are so costly. This play and many others like it the last few years fuel conspiracy theories among Saints fans regarding Roger Goodell and officiating. If you recall, I wrote this prior to the game: “ I figure Roger Goodell et al would love to see Tom Brady vs Aaron Rogers in Green Bay, so I am expecting more shenanigans with officials and phantom penalties for fifteen yards on third and long against the Saints’ defense. Also, look for penalties on special teams against the Saints to give field position battle to the Bucs. I do not trust Roger Goodell.”
In his two seasons in the NFL, Harris has had multiple touchdowns called back on very questionable blocking calls (sometimes nowhere near the play) and holding penalties. The guy is exhilarating to watch, but he has had trouble with injuries, as he’s only 5’6” and 170 pounds. His vision, aggressiveness, fearlessness, 4.3 speed and unbelievable quickness make him a pleasure to watch. Another in a long line of amazing UFA finds by the Saints.

They spend more money on Super Bowl commercials every year and they get worse and worse.

Amazing how this game is being officiated. Tampa with four first downs from penalties, and only one penalty against the Bucs thus far. Versus the Saints, the Bucs were allowed to be handsy and physical with the Saints receivers.

Two more penalties in the last 13 seconds of the half gives the Bucs another first down, then a first down at the one yard line, which led to a touchdown. That’s six first downs via penalties for the Bucs in the first half. Saints just never see this type of officiating against anyone. Brady seems accustomed to it.

The officials are helping him make history...

Well I'll be avoiding anything football related for awhile after this one. Let the Brady adulation party begin.

At least Judge, unlike KC, showed up for the game.
