After the Saints’ glorious victory over Tom Brady and the NFL darlings, The Buccaneers, New Orleans was right back in the playoff picture after leveling their record to 7-7. Unfortunately, the league decided to randomly test the Saints following the game and this Monday night against the 7-7 Miami Dolphins (winners of six straight), New Orleans will be missing 21 players and 4 coaches from tonight’s contest. I am struggling to keep my tin foil hat on my head, as well as understanding the alleged protocol that supposedly allows asymptomatic and vaccinated individuals to play. The Saints have one of the most thoroughly vaccinated teams in the NFL. Saints will be starting their fourth different quarterback this season in rookie Ian Book, and they just signed Blake Bortles as backup. Halfback Alvin Kamara is now listed as the third string QB. In case the game gets out of hand, I bought three bags of chips and dip - my dual version kryptonite and personal addiction: My name is Rizzuto and I’m a chip-aholic; it’s been ten minutes since my last gnosh. I'm hoping the Saints can beat the hated Eagles for that final playoff spot.
LOL at the chips and dip addiction. That used to be one of my weakness so I just stopped buying it. I crave mostly ice cream and cookies these days.

I lost in the semi final of my fantasy football league by one point. I'm sorry for your loss.

I lost in the semi final of my fantasy football league by one point. I'm sorry for your loss. Thanks Chi! LOL. I should went with my gut and started Justin Jackson RB from the Chargers over David Montgomery of the Bears. Then I would have won. But on the aggregate rankings site, I saw 97 percent of the experts recommended Montgomery so I went with him. Stupid experts! What do they know?

Montgomery is a very good back but you just can't trust the Bear's offense.

I thought of you when I purchased French Onion Dip!

I lost in the semi final of my fantasy football league by one point. What a bummer. Sounds like you at least had a good season to get that far…

I lost in the semi final of my fantasy football league by one point. What a bummer. Sounds like you at least had a good season to get that far… I had some good luck despite mediocre players. Injuries killed me. I drafted Derrick Henry first (foot fracture cost him most of the season) and Calvin Ridley second (mental health issues cost him the whole season).
Hey your Colts are looking pretty good recently! I bet no one wants to play them in the playoffs.

The Saints just set a record for the most different starting players in an NFL season. Of course, somehow the media will find a way to emphasize the impact on Tom Brady.

I hadn’t watched a down this year until I saw about three minutes of the third quarter this week… But I’ve been scoreboard watching. Something lit a fire under them…

If any of you watched the Dolphins vs. Saints game last night, the score may have been closer had the Saints simply knelt down every play on offense and then punted. The defense and special teams would have performed much better by themselves. Hopefully, the Saints shall get back the 20+ players absent from MNF for their last two games and the slimmest of chances to make the playoffs. The Saints are now 2-5 at home this season and 5-3 on the road. Adjusting my tin foil hat again, I must ask for your honest opinion: If it was Tom Brady's Tampa Bay team that had more than 20 players and 4 coaches out due to covid protocols and their playoff lives were on the line, would Roger Goodell and the NFL have rescheduled the game? Note: Two newly signed Saints' players were being fitted for equipment right before game time last night.
