This offense continues to make stars out of no name pitchers about 1/2 the time. It’s getting to be a feast or famine game...
NEEDED: Crooked numbers on Yankees side of the scoreboard...

Bird’s bat looking slow through the zone again...and a weak fly to right is the result. Hopefully, he’ll read this and hit a homer next time up... Any of you guys that live up that way and get to go to games should hold up he amy ha signs...  Hey, I was serious. Imagine if the booth picked up on it and we became a “thing”, like the thumbs down guy? I’ll be happy to fly out to do a guest gig in the booth. We just have to keep Dome out of the booth... |

Pablo Lopez just made his 9th career MLB start. It’s the second time he has not allowed a HR, and the third time he’s allowed one run in six innings. He also allowed 2 runs in 7 innings once. Not bad, but the Yankee showing was not in alignment with Lopez’ 4.79 ERA entering the game...

With Voit and Robinson coming off the bench our depth is severely thin. Add their averages together and they don't get to .300. Pathetic. Tanaka pitched well enough to win. Hope we don't waste it.

Tanaka put the ball in play twice tonight. Voit pinch hits and strikes out. Terrific.
