King Felix tomorrow... no longer a scary assignment... He's been demoted to Baron Felix at best. Better than being that Baron Sasha Cohen guy...That’s too many names for a guy...

Just about the right price now. Are all of those three still breathing? If so, let’s go for it...
I always dug that little gun. We should give it to Chapman now...

I always dug that little gun. We should give it to Chapman now... , I wanted to do updated animated smilies for today's Yankees, Judge with a Gavel, Didi in sunglasses, etc etc. but the old animation program I used doesn't work on Windows 10 and I'm too lazy to learn another.

Don’t do it unless you enjoy it. If you dig it, do it. If you really dig it, do it twice. That was a quote off one of Jim Croce’s albums. It was a simple spoken word quote from a short message that was recorded from an interview piece that was included on the album. I can’t remember which one. I think I have three or four of them. I have a double album that Ingrid released after he died some twenty years later, I think. It may have been on that one...

Karl may finally find a way for the Yankees to make a trade. for Melky, Igawa, and IPK. I didn't know IPK was still in the majors. He's 1-8 with an ERA over 5 in 18 starts for the Royals.

Oops! Shows you how much I follow figure skating...or else it’s a body shame for her... 😺

That was so many years ago...Yet I still catch myself singing his songs driving down the highway...He was probably the biggest folk music influence I ever had...Maybe Harry Chapin. Close call...They both seemed to be kind and generous people... If you get a chance, listen to/watch Springsteen’s tribute to Chapin on the net... [

[ My dad always says Croce got robbed of a bigger career. He just had started to be recognized as one of the bigger names early in 1973 and was just about to peak. Unfortunately his career peaked after he died.

[ My dad always says Croce got robbed of a bigger career. He just had started to be recognized as one of the bigger names early in 1973 and was just about to peak. Unfortunately his career peaked after he died. I agree with that. There was a lot more music in there that never got out...At the time, I didn’t think of what I was listening to as folk music. Maybe it wasn’t considered that then, I’m not sure. There’s quite a bit of what I thought was rock or pop when I was growing up in the folk music section now. Heck, I’ve even seen some of Rod Stewart’s stuff the folk section, a “hard rocker” in the day... The thing about Croce was that he seem to cross over the folk/bluegrass/country/pop/rock genre lines with such ease that his audience was about as broad as that of any musician short of Elvis Presley. With Ingrid’s influence and deeper country roots he could even touch gospel, though he seemed to not want to go there...There was something special about hearing them sing together, which I didn’t hear until after his death...
