So with Shameless airing tonight and the Walking Dead airing in about a month, I figured we can discuss TV shows.. since they're the only two non-baseball shows I really watch on TV (besides Ancient Aliens , purely for entertainment , and StarTalk because it's awesome... occasionally, I'll watch Pawn Stars and American Pickers but don't go looking for new episodes)
Anybody else watch Shameless or the Walking Dead? Both series are losing their respective main characters this season. That upsets me very much but I think both shows have the supporting cast to make it work.

M.A.S.H was terrific...Alan Alda’s one -liners came at a rapid pace and were searing and on point. I thought the show would slip when they lost Stephenson, but Harry Morgan fulfilled the role of a goofy colonel well enough.
In fact, the show endured cast changes several times over the years...
The best EVER? I think it’s hard to top the Johnny Carson years on The Tonight Show...

You got great taste in TV shows and a few of my friends were into it when it was airing. Before my grandma got ill recently it was so much easier to sit in front of a TV. I haven't really been even watching games. I wanted to watch shameless and get some sleep after I got home from work at 730am but I couldn't. I've been running on about 2 to 3 hours of sleep a day. I started falling asleep standing up at work. Dude thought I was high I had to explain what was going on. Reminded me of back when I had a driving job and I would fall asleep while driving but that was because I was getting high or drinking all night. At least now I don't have to feel negative about not getting sleep and I don't put other people at risk. Thankfully the drive home from work is five minutes and usually by that time I have about 6 shots of espresso I get for free at work lol |

The Wire Breaking Bad The Sopranos True Detective Season 1 Oz Deadwood Kay, You and I have the same taste. I just watched the pilot of the Sopranos last night. I binged watched it years ago, so thought I'd give it a second try. One of the best ever. Breaking Bad and The Wire are also on my top 5 list. Breaking Bad never had a mediocre or bad season. A couple more you might want to check out. Ozark with Jason Bateman, had a lot of "I didn't see that coming" scenes in it's first season and first season "Fargo" has Billy Bob at his finest as the dude that will scare the shit out of you. |

Yes, I saw the first season of Fargo. I forgot about that. It was pretty good. Are the later seasons as good as the first one or does it get worse? I also heard good things about Ozark. I should watch that next. I actually watched the Sopranos twice through the whole thing. The one of the only shows I've done that with. The two shows I saw a few episodes of and never liked too much or finished was Mad Men and Mr. Robot. |
