How do you send him there? The LF was already throwing the ball before he even touched 3B. So bad. Yeah, I thought that, too. It was Bird running on a hard hit single by Judge, who is listed as 6'7", but it still took a perfect throw to get him. |

Why did he slide right into the tag? Was no one behind home plate for the Yankees saying to go behind? Either way, I don’t think it’s a good decision to send him there. For what seems like the first time ever we had Keuchel “on the ropes” with Gary coming up.

I give Smoltz credit for pointing out that those low strikes called on Judge all year are balls. And, he's right. Judge needs to let the umps know it next season because Girardi isn't going to do it.

Sanchez was late getting up to signal. Moot point in that a guy with a foot injury shouldn't be trying to go home in this ballpark with that kind of hit.
