So the Brewers and cubs will play at Wrigley Field at 1:05 PM the Rockies and Dodgers will play in LA at 4:09 PM.
Winners win their divisions and losers play in the wild card game on Tuesday at 8pm.
The wildcard game will be in whatever central team doesn't win their division game 163.

Thanks for the updates, Anthony. Milwaukee has really come on strong. I have been a big fan of Yelich and always thought he was the all-around best of that great OF trio the Marlins had with Stanton and Ozuna. If the Yanks make it to the World Series, the Cubs might be a team you would rather face. I probably never give Colorado enough credit for their accomplishments because of the weird atmosphere they play in, but I think they would be a more beatable opponent than the Dodgers. I would love to see how far Judge and Stanton (and Luuuuke) could hit a ball in that moon-like Denver setting.

I would love to see how far Judge and Stanton (and Luuuuke) could hit a ball in that moon-like Denver setting. Living out here gives me a different perspective of the thin air of Denver. Like my hometown of Pueblo West (5,140 ft. EL.), Denver is sort of in the “lowlands” at 5,280 feet in a state with an average elevation of about 6,800 feet. To be fair, there is only a small portion of our population hardy enough to live above about 9,000 feet, though some of the towns are over 10,000 feet. The eastern plains drop down as low as about 3,300 feet as you near the Kansas border. The farm teams in Colorado Springs play at around 6,600 feet. Golf is definitely a different animal out here, too. I haven’t teed it up since my return, but I know I’ve hit multiple drives as far as 350 or so yards here in the past whereas in MD-PA-DE-NJ I had to squeeze out every drop of perfection to hit my bests of around 310 or so. Typical well struck drives out east were around 260-275. Typical well struck drives in CO were 300-325. That said, since Judge, Stanton, and Sanchez have come near to 500’ in NY, I would guess similar contact in mid-summer might go an extra 10%, maybe even 15% further...550-575 feet possibly?...in autumn weather, I doubt we’ll see 500 feet, to be honest...

LOL, all five teams in the AL playoffs have a better record than anyone in the NL.
That said, the Cubs & Dodgers are loaded with talent but both slightly underachieved in the regular season.

LOL, all five teams in the AL playoffs have a better record than anyone in the NL. Is it a condemnation of the NL playoff teams, or is it a statement that the weak sisters in the AL are weaker than those of the NL teams? The NL. certainly appeared better balanced this year. Baltimore has no comp in the NL, for instance...

No question that Baltimore and the rest of the AL West was terrible, but Seattle and Tampa are good teams. I think both of them would win the NL East.

LOL, all five teams in the AL playoffs have a better record than anyone in the NL. To be fair Cleveland is 91-71 while the cubs and brewers are 95-67. However the other division winners/candidates are 91-71 or worse. So yea the A's astros Red Sox and Yankees have better records than all 5 teams. The rays who finished 90-72 would be right in the hunt for the division and wildcard in NL and not a bunch of games back.

Sorry National League, you don't suck as much as I thought you did!

Damn, my MLBTV won't work for this Cubs/Brewers game. Are these not still regular season games? Screw you MLB & ESPN.
