I understand the rationale of trying to buy Hicks as much recovery time as possible, and even if he represents a drop-off from Hicks's production, Gardner isn't a total black hole either. Life would be much more pleasant if the Yanks took care of business tonight and tomorrow.
Got my mute button warmed up for whenever Lauren Shehadi speaks (if she's on this broadcast, not sure.) To my ears, one of the most unbearable voices I have ever heard in baseball. She sounds like a hostess at a "Gentleman's Club."
