Got to suck it up and move on. I will be in attendance at the game! So far we are undefeated in the playoffs when a forum member shows up! Let's go CC!

Comeback starts Monday. Someone quote Uncle Joe Torres telling the old man to STFU and get out of his office because they're going to Atlanta to sweep. Or whatever.

Comeback starts Monday. Someone quote Uncle Joe Torres telling the old man to STFU and get out of his office because they're going to Atlanta to sweep. Or whatever. “‘George, we’re a little flat,’ I said. ‘And Maddux is pitching tonight. You know, we may get beat,'” Torre said. “I said ‘But we’ll go to Atlanta, we’ll win three there, and I’ll come back and win it for you on Saturday night,’ and I walked out of the office. That’s exactly what happened.”

But we're going to go to New York, we'll win three there, and then we'll come back and win it in Houston on Friday night!

www.yahoo.com/sports/play-clean-yankees-couldnt-live-astros-mantra-game-2-loss-033000109.htmlWhat’s so striking about the Astros these days, as they head to the Bronx with a two-games-to-none lead in the American League Championship Series over the New York Yankees following their second consecutive 2-1 victory, is how clean doesn’t even cover the brand of baseball they’re playing. They are grandma’s kitchen on Sunday after she scrubs through three sponges. They are an operating room before surgery. They are pristine and thorough, pure as two hydrogen atoms meeting one oxygen, and their orientation to detail made the difference between them and the Yankees in the series’ first two games. “I threw it in the direction where I figured he’d be,” Reddick said. “I got lucky.” This wasn’t luck. It was smart baseball players doing smart things. The Astros had practiced relays before Game 1 of the ALCS, just as they had occasionally throughout the season in what manager A.J. Hinch called “routine maintenance.” The Astros are the team that changes their oil every 3,000 miles because they understand a well-tended engine doesn’t break down at integral moments.

See it’s stuff like that which pisses me off what game are they watching? Also so many social media comments saying the Yankees are outmatched. Do they even know the definition of outmatched? The Red Sox were outmatched.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Yeah, but you have to love it when the media chatter like this starts after the first game or two, and then the momentum switches, like it did in Cleveland...Then all of a sudden it becomes power vs. finesse and the power won...and changing the oil every 7500 miles is okay in this day and age after all...

However, I would certainly not say a couple of 2-1 losses is proof that the team on the whole is completely overmatched. Whoever is saying that isnt paying attention.

Regardless what was the offense total in both games ? Game 1 6 hits 1 Walk for Houston 5 hits 3 walks for Yankees Game 2 5 hits 3 walks for Houston 5 hits 1 walk for Yankees You can’t get much closer than that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
