If Joe says the players aren't freaked out then I don't see why fans should be. A little four game win streak starting at home is within the realm of possibility. I don't necessarily agree that for that to happen Judge and Sanchez have to get hot, although I know it would help. Hicks and Bird seem far more poised, and with Gardner, Didi and the occasional contributions from Castro and Frazier, the offense can eek by as long as the pitching holds up. Mid October is not the time to be debating the future of Judge. Other sites are already saying Judge is destined to be a .220 hitter going forward despite the fact he will be the runner up MVP of the fucking league and ROY. And some people call me a pessimist 😳

In the movie fever pitch Jimmy Fallon and a couple guys are in a restaurant the same night just after the Red Sox had lost 19-8 in game 3 of the 2004 Alcs. They see Johnny Damon and a couple other players in the restaurant eating and joking while jimmy Fallon and the guys are borderline suicidal. They then realize they are too obsessed with the team and if the players aren’t upset over the loss why should they be taking the game so seriously. for all the hard wok toe has put in he deserves a start in the postseason. maybe spell castro or frazier for a game and make them dh? given how poor our dh have been i dont think it would hurt
