I would have liked to see CC come back from that and gets them three quick ones but instead get the bullpen up. You can’t cough up this lead by coming back and falling behind hitters. Short leash.

Really hope CC gets Altuve here. Would like to see him in the 6th.
Excellent job by CC to get out of a couple of jams this game. Send him back out in the 6th. If he gets through the 6th send him out in the 7th...

I would let CC start the 7th. It's 8-0, give him a little bit of wiggle room and try to save the bullpen. Green/Kahnle/Robertson/Chapman should not be touched tonight. They have Warren and Betances. I would let CC start the 7th. If he struggles put in Warren, and hopefully he can get us through the rest of the 7th and 8th. Betances for the 9th if it's still a big lead. Chad Green should be the "stopper" if Houston threatens to get within 4-5 runs.

If that’s his last start as a Yankee he finished strong. Hopefully we see him pitch at least once more next week. I hope he comes back next year, but I think with his fine season and really good Post Season, the price went up and rightfully so from his perspective |

If Warren can preserve the lead for the next two innings, the ninth would be a great time to let Betances find his slot.
