That time off was for groin and mental healing...so after this we’ll have fixed his groin, his head, and his shoulder...Hopefully, his shoulder was also affecting his desire to run hard to first base...or maybe that was the brain, which on a young man of his age is very closely connected to the groin area...
I guess it’s only partially his fault, but he’s like a continuing drama. He should be able to get a gig advertising for Ivory Snow...

Maybe they’re waiting for mid-season, 2019... 😈 JBJ and Benintendi are waiting for mid-season 2020...😈 Devers and Bogaerts aren’t due til mid season 2021...😈 By 2022 JD and Mookie will be due again...😈 And pitchers? Well, they’re pitchers. They pop when they pop...They can’t last forever... |

Should be ready by opening day. This off season turning into a train wreck. What else has gone wrong? I'm relieved to know that there's an (apparent) explanation for Sanchez' prolonged slump. Pain kept him from swinging the bat well. I figure he's going to have an arthroscopic procedure and he'll be just fine. Kinda good news, really. |

Shoulder pain could also explain his inability to properly block and reach for pitches, as well. As the article said, it was his non-throwing shoulder. Hmmm. Seems like that would be the one with his mitt on it, unless he has another one I’m not aware of... (:

Then on Friday Judge will need hand surgery. Maybe they can do brain surgery on Bird and “get him going”... Chop a few ligaments in Andujar to add some flexibility... Put the fountain of youth in Gardner so he can have that “one last year” that every player dreams of having... And do anything they can to make a braced knee survive the pounding of supporting a certain 300 # pitcher for 32 more starts... |
