Romine behind the dish, Sanchez at DH. Dont love this move. Girardi's lost his mind, making moves based on a three game sample size.

Nope, not at all. As I said before in a different game thread, I think the weight that is being applied to them in all this hysteria that Sanchez is not a good catcher is way overdone. When you consider that these guys receive between 15,000 and 20,000 pitches per year there is no material difference between 5 and 15 pitches getting by...and even less so when you only take into account the number of balls that get by in a meaningful situation and even less so when you consider those that get by and lead to a meaningful negative result.

Romine starting at catcher is not a big deal IMO. Sanchez gets a rest but his bat is still in the line up. If Holliday or Ellsbury or Headley were hitting, then it probably doesn't happen.

section 330 down left-field line, had a blast. Wasn't as cold as many thought it'd be. Nice! Yea, the weather wasn't too bad through out the game. I survived with just a light jacket and no hat. What a great game to attend though! No hat isn't surprising since you lost that bet to Inger!

0-2. Why not go middle middle to Beltran.

I think it's more about giving Sanchez some rest? Sorta like a "day game after a night game" unless Girardi said he put Romine behind the plate bc of the 3 game's he caught Gray?
Anyways, lets score some mother f'n runs!!

Gray throwing a lot of pitches. Hope he finds a better rhythm soon.

Gray doesn’t seem to have great command of his pitches. Must be Sanchez’s fault.

They just showed the stat, most balls thrown in the dirt by pitchers and Gray was right up there in second. Maybe that's why Romine is starting

“Gardner is the one guy I wouldn’t want to see up with a runner on third and less than two outs”.
Runner is on second with two outs. Where is the confused emoticon when you need it?
