Not scoring in the 7th is going to bite us in the ass. I think we lose 3-2. We needed to get a run off of Verlander to put even more pressure on that Astros bullpen. Brad Peacock & Company doesn't scare the yankees. Certainly didn't scare Judge.

Not a good AB from Didi.

DiDi left Peackcock off the hook.

Blah. This was a bad performance from the Yanks. We didn't play well tonight, and just didn't take opportunities presented to us. The umpire didn't help, but it's not an excuse. We bailed out Verlander in the 6th and 7th inning.
We need to comeback tomorrow and get into the Astros bullpen early. And we need 4-5 good innings from CC.

Gary Sanchez has been absolutely horrible tonight. HORRIBLE.

I'm really pissed off. We blew this game tonight. We had Verlander on the ropes several times. We had Peacock on the ropes and Didi and Sanchez bail him out with two bad ABs.
I'm pissed. It's also very unsettling knowing how lucky Houston has gotten in the 3 games in Houston. Whereas the Yankees basically bludgeoned the Astros at Yankee Stadium, the Astros have literally just scraped out wins in Houston. We are the better team, but in Houston, they always make the big catch in the outfield, get out of jams, and just get the one hit they need.
If we enter a Game 7 I won't have anywhere near the confidence I had entering Game 5 in Cleveland.

Its almost as if Gary never has any regard for what the count is I agree. And, his mind was made up to swing at the first pitch, which was way outside.

I'm not sure I'd be using Robertson in this situation.

The runs houston has scored in this series in Houston have been completely pathetic at best. Yankees had loads of baserunners tonight they were far from dominated just blew chances. Well not keeping the deficit at 2 doesn't help things.

Just like the other night. Robertson doesn't have it.

Goodnight fellas. I am not confident at all we win tomorrow. We absolutely shit the bed tonight.
This feels like a series where the team with the homefield advantage will win it, and the Astros have it. Tonight was hands down the worst Yankee performance of the postseason. For all of the talk we had about the Astros being intimidated by Yankee Stadium, it seems like the Yankees were intimidated by Houston, and the moment of going to the World Series tonight.
