I don't recall Verlander ever being this good. Nasty? Yes. But, not this level of command with all his pitches.

Altuve starting to jabber in frustration at the umpire, but Houston pitching has gotten at least as good and from my view better calls this entire series.

I don't recall Verlander ever being this good. Nasty? Yes. But, not this level of command with all his pitches. I recall him being about 70% good, 30% not vs the yankees. There were definitely games where he gave up multiple runs vs the yankees then other ones where they couldn't hit him at all. However, he was never in the category of King Felix or something where they never hit him ever.
