According to ZiPS, the Orioles have one projected above-average hitter. That’s Trey Mancini with a 105 OPS+. -from RAB
Just look at this whack ass lineup they're putting out there:
1. Cedric Mullins (S) CF 2. Dwight Smith Jr. (L) LF 3. Jonathan Villar (S) 2B 4. Trey Mancini (R) DH 5. Rio Ruiz (L) 3B 6. Joey Rickard (R) RF 7. Chris Davis (L) 1B 8. Jesus Sucre (R) C 9. Richie Martin (R) SS

I know I'm jinxing the Yankees by making fun of how bad the Orioles are. But I can't help it.
Don't tempt the Baseball Gods!

I don’t know. I heard Cedric can be entertaining. Speaking of which, on his new show, (Cedric the Entertainer), I HATE the guy that plays his white neighbor sooooo much. Just looking at him makes me want to wring his neck...

They were saying on MLB Network last night that the Orioles had won eight straight opening days. That sounds like a streak that really needs to be broken.
It sure is a sign of how far he has fallen that Chris Davis is batting seventh in a lineup this bad.
But oh yeah, opening day always feels great. Play ball.
