Where is Torreyes when you need him...played SS, 2B, 3B...put the ball in play, available everyday, never hurt! I miss that little guy! You know things are bad when we're missing Torreyes. Wonder if Miguel Cairo has anything left in the tank?

Was Bird running full tilt on that?

Come on losing to the Orioles and Tigers? These teams aren't even trying!

I feel like we're back in 1989 with the Yankees. This is really sad. I don't know if the Yankees need an off day, but I do.

Wow, the Bronx Bleeders or the Bruised Bombers lose another series. Pitching is okay, but they can’t hit themselves in the ass with a bass fiddle.

Due to my relative youth, I was able to post mine a millisecond before yours...Did you also get today’s trivia question right?... Actually I thought of Mays instantly. Don't know how come I didn't think of Schmidt until you named him, and I knew right away that was correct. Mays came to me right away, as well. At that point I knew that all I had to do was start checking off 500 HR hitters and Schmidt came to mind as my next thought, so apparently the subconscious was also wired to think about great fielders... Somehow I was able to immediately recognize that Jim Kast did NOT hit 500 HR... (:

Was Bird running full tilt on that? That ball was smoked, but yeah that’s about his redline speed.

It's good that Boston is off to such a crappy start, but at least those are West Coast games against opponents that aren't as terrible as Baltimore and Detroit.

As poorly as the Yankees have been playing, I'm surprised Noetsi hasn't shown up on the game threads to deepen the gloom.
Maybe we're doing adequately without him!😣

Boston also doesn't have an army on the IL like we do. No, they don't. Seems like they never do. I know that to some extent injuries are just bad luck, but the Yankees have had so many over the past two seasons that I wonder if they should look into their training regimen, or give more weight to the injury histories of players they sign. Injuries are part of the game, but this group is really going above and beyond.
