Aside from his first season in Minnesota ... Hughes has been pretty bad. Even his first year wasn't THAT good. So much potential... if only he never got injured in Texas.. what could've been. Do you think it was the injury in Texas or do you just think the Yankees fucked him up? I can't wait to kick some ass tomorrow!! I think Hughes is what Hughes is. I don't think he has anyone to blame...Sometimes people just need to man up and carry the load for what they've done or not done. It's not always someone else's fault... |

I agree with inger. Its all on Hughes. Though he has had some injuries through out his career, he has had enough years in the big leagues that his performance speaks for itself.  |

Honestly his best stuff was probably 2009-10 he had a great year in the bullpen in 09 then followed up a good year with a solid year as a starter in 10. Pretty much all down hill from there other than his first year in Minnesota. |

Gives CC 2 possible starts, both on the road in a park he knows. Tanaka rested at home where he's been much better than the road.
ALDS 1 - CC
ALDS 2 - Pickles
ALDS 3 - Tanaka
ALDS 4 - Severino
ALDS 5 - CC

For those of you who don't know what an enigma is, that IS not the thing you use to make you poop. CC...just has to be the same CC he's been of late, which might be just as good of a CC as he was when he was the old CC. We need Dr. Tanaka, not Mr. Hyde. And as I said of Severino earlier...he was amped. That was a great learning experience for him...Let's have some fun, win or lose...but it will be a lot more fun if we win... |
