Should have taken the over on Tauchman. Tauch ‘em all... (well, half of them, anyway)... I was on the phone, so watching with the sound off when he got the double. He looked pissed off because he was safe. Guess it happens so infrequently he doesn’t know how to handle it... |

I was thinking the other day. Is it possible that as this (ridiculous) opener nonsense continues in baseball... I doubt an opener will ever be considered for the Cy Young Award, but what about a guy that does a lot of “following” that may pitch well for 2-3 innings and vulture a bundle of wins? It’s conceivable that we could see the return of the 30-game winner, and that the guy that wins 30 may not qualify for the ERA title...Nutty stuff...
