If the bullpen was as good as the Yanks expect it to be, they could have won at least 2 of these games and maybe all 3. |

Defense has caused too many extra bases, extra outs and extra pitches. On a positive note, the Yankees have had a chance to win just about every game, tying or winning run at the plate. Base running deleted several runs this season as well. LaMahieu should be moved up in the lineup. Bat Gardy second, tough to double up. Drop Judge to third spot.

Gardner has not only clearly lost a step, he has not been judging the ball well either. He's not the same guy in the OF.
